Dr. Kuhlman graduated from Ohio State University College of Dentistry and completed the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio. He spent 11 years in the Army with 2 tours of Germany. Dr. Kuhlman has also completed the Aligner Intensive Fellowship, a four-month comprehensive course designed to enhance orthodontists’ ability to treat a variety of complex orthodontic cases utilizing clear aligners.
Dr. Kuhlman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Nueces Valley District Dental Society.
He met his wife, Nydia, while volunteering for Habitat for Humanity during his orthodontic training in San Antonio. While stationed in Germany, he and his wife visited 14 countries. They have 2 sons and a daughter and enjoy watching college football and college basketball games. Go Buckeyes! They also enjoy Friday night fireworks at the Hooks games and going on nature walks.
